Firefighting forces from Kandano, Kampano, and Chania are on the scene, and a helicopter is also participating in the firefighting operation. Strong winds are blowing in the area, while the fire is near Livada and is heading towards Temenia. At this time, the villages of Agrieles and Livada are being evacuated.
As reported by Haniotika Nea, firefighting forces are continuously being reinforced, and currently, 88 firefighters, 3 ground teams, 28 vehicles, 3 helicopters, municipal water tankers, heavy machinery, and a volunteer team from EPOMEA are operating.
