MILANO – Inter anxious about Marcus Thuram. During the first leg of the round of 16 of Champions League against Atletico Madrid, the Nerazzurri striker was forced to leave the pitch due to injury. Arnautovic came on in his place and scored the match goal.
Thuram, injury at the end of the first half of Inter-Atletico Madrid
At 45′ of the first half, after one of his usual tears, Thuram he went for the shot (save by Atletico Madrid goalkeeper Oblak). A few moments later he collapsed to the ground, clutching his right thigh. He was checked by doctors and remained on the pitch until the end of the first half, but after the break Marko Arnautovic came on in his place. For the Inter striker it would be a contracture of the right adductor. Thuram will soon undergo more in-depth tests to understand the extent of his injury.
