jpnn.com – JAKARTA – Inter Milan extends Lautaro Martinez’s contract.
The Italian Serie A club has officially extended the contract of their striker and captain for the next five years.
The news was announced on the official Inter Milan club website on Monday evening WIB.
The Argentina international’s contract runs until June 2026, but Inter are keen to ensure Martinez stays for longer.
“FC Internazionale Milano confirms that it has reached an agreement to extend Lautaro Martinez’s contract. The forward, born in 1997, has signed a new contract that runs until 30 June 2029,” Inter Milan said in a statement.
According to European transfer expert Fabrizio Romano, the new contract will see Lautaro receive a salary of 9 million Euros (around Rp. 157 billion) plus bonuses.
The 26-year-old forward impressed last season, scoring 27 goals and providing seven assists in 44 appearances in all competitions.
His appearance helped Inter Milan win Serie A and the Italian Super Cup in the 2023/24 season.
