According to Inter Milan midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan, his team is preparing as well as possible to win the Italian Serie A again in the 2024-2025 season.
“We are working hard to win the league again. We have had solid preparations and are now close to full strength,” Mkhitaryan said on Inter Milan’s website, Monday (12/8).
The Armenian player said Inter Milan always wants to be better from season to season. Although they were champions last season, Inter Milan are still hungry for the title, and are trying as hard as possible to make it happen.
“We also need full support from the fans. We will try our best to achieve peak performance in the league,” he said.
Inter Milan played six pre-season matches in 2024 with three wins, two draws and one loss.
The Nerrazurri won against Lugano, Pergolettese and Las Palmas. However, Roberto Mancini’s side drew with Pisa and Chelsea, and lost to Al Ittihad.
Mkhitaryan said pre-season friendlies help players continue to grow.
