Interim Govt’s move laudable: Fakhrul

On Tuesday (August 20) at 12 noon at Ziaur Rahman’s shrine in Sherebangla Nagar, the newly appointed members of the BNP Standing Committee, Major (retd.) Hafiz Uddin Ahmed and Dr. He said this while paying respects to AZM Zahid Hossain.

BNP Secretary General commented that India has broken its promise of democracy by sheltering former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina. He said that the fascist former prime minister Sheikh Hasina fled the country through the student revolution. Unfortunately our neighboring country gave him shelter. From there, Hasina started a conspiracy to thwart Bangladesh’s victory.

He said that the people of this country do not underestimate Sheikh Hasina’s crime. The misrule of the last 15 years has weakened the independence of the country. He has saddled the nation with a debt of 18 lakh crore rupees. About 100 billion dollars have been smuggled.

Mirza Fakhrul Islam said, I request India to respect the law and hand over the criminal to the Bangladesh government.

Regarding the election, Mirza Fakhrul said that this government is a government of mass uprising of students. Their main function is to transfer power to a democratic government through elections. It will take some time to clean up the mess created by the previous Awami government. For that, the people of this country will give the required time.
