Johannesburg: Rudy Keston, one of the best umpires in international cricket, has passed away. South African cricketer Rudy passed away at the age of 73. He was undergoing treatment after a car accident recently.

Rudy Caseton is famous for his unique style of hand signaling the decision to dismiss players during cricket matches. Rudy announced his decision by raising his fingers very slowly. This South African umpire was highly respected as a highly experienced umpire who officiated 331 matches in international cricket.

Born in West Africa, Rudy Keston started umpiring in cricket in 1981. He managed 108 Tests and 209 ODIs from 1992 to 2010 in 331 matches.
