International Film Festival: Half of the contestants are women filmmakers Kerala | Deshabhimani

Thiruvananthapuram> 14 films will be screened in the competition section of the International Film Festival. The category includes films from nine countries, including Turkey, Argentina, Azerbaijan and Spain, including four Indian films.

The Malayalam films in this category are Nishidho directed by Tara Ramanujam and Awas Vyuham directed by Krishanth. The other Indian films in the competition category are the Tamil film Koozhangal directed by Vinod Raj and I Am Not the River Jhula.

Half of the films screened in the competition category are produced by women directors. The female films in the competition are Spanish film Camila Comes Out to Net, Clara Zola directed by Natalie Alvarez Miesen, Croatian film Murina, Dina Ameer directed You Reassemble Me, Camila Antony’s Uni and Costa Brava Lebanon.

Suzra and Herzons, the Asia-Pacific Screen nominee from Azerbaijan, are also in the competition .Ilgar Najaf is the director of the film.
