International flight ban: indefinite extension | Dynamics

by time news

New Delhi: The ban on international flights in the country has been extended indefinitely. In our country, international flights were banned in March 2020 due to the threat of the corona virus.

However, under the ‘Vande Bharat’ scheme, special flights are being operated to foreign countries. Similarly, on a contract basis, it operates flights to 45 countries.

In the meantime, the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) decided last November to resume air services following the Corona outbreak. However, the decision was reversed following the outbreak of the omega-3 virus.

However, there is no restriction on international cargo airlines, special flights approved by the DGCA, and contract-operated aircraft.
