An international tennis tournament is being held in Adelaide ahead of the Australian Open. In the men’s doubles semifinals yesterday, India’s Rogan Po Panna and Ramkumar advanced to the final after defeating Tomislav Birkis (Bosnia) – Santiago Gonzalez (Mexico) 6-2, 6-4. Rogan Bopanna-Ramkumar alliance will face Ivan Dodic (Croatia) -Marcello Milo (Brazil) in today’s final.

In the singles semifinals, world number 29 Karen Kachchanov of Russia defeated Marin Cilic of Croatia 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 in the semifinals to advance to the final.

In the other semi-final, 21st-ranked Frenchman Monfils defeated Australia’s Tansi Kokkinakis 7-5, 6-0 to advance to the final. Kachanov-Monfils are competing in the final.

Similarly, in the women’s singles semifinals, world number one and 2nd Grand Slam champion Ashley Party of Australia advanced to the final by defeating ninth seed Iga Sviatek (Poland) 6-2, 6-4 in Nerset. In the final Ashley Party meets Elena Rybakina of Kazakhstan. He defeated Japan’s Mizaki Toy 6-4, 6-3 in the semifinals.
