‘Interrogation is not for nothing, it will be beneficial if Dileep does not cooperate’: ADGP Sreejith

Kochi: ADGP Sreejith has hinted that there is definite evidence against actor Dileep in the case of conspiracy to assassinate the officials in the case where the actress was attacked. He asserted that his confession had been obtained through torture, and that his confession had been obtained through torture.

The ADGP said it was not immediately clear what was in the hands of the Crime Branch. If Dileep does not co-operate, it will also be beneficial for the investigation. The ADGP said that he would not only co-operate but also make a diversion in the case and if the actor did not co-operate, he would inform the court about that.

He clarified that the evidence could not be disclosed at this time. All five defendants are being questioned. More people will be questioned if necessary. It is unknown at this time what he will do after leaving the post. The interrogation is being conducted as per the directions of the court. It will ask the court if it needs more time. He explained that he would fully comply with the court order.

ADGP and IG Gopesh Agarwal visited the Kalamassery Crime Branch office. Both will be part of the interrogation of Dileep and others. They will evaluate the questioning so far.
