Harsh Mayar, who made a place in the hearts of the audience by playing the character of Aman Mishra in the web series ‘Gullak’, is currently seen in its fourth season. Aman, who recently spoke to the members of NBT Rangmanch Club, talked about everything from his personal life to his professional life. During this, he spoke openly about his journey from the beginning to now. Know what he said.

– How do you look back at your acting career which you started with the film I Am Kalam?

I would not like to give credit for that journey because many other people had a hand in that film like the film’s director Neela Madhab Panda, my parents. After coming to Mumbai, my look changed, things changed, things are so different from when we lived in Delhi, yes I would like to give myself credit for that. But yes, the journey has been very beautiful. Despite not being from the film industry, not having any background, getting love and such projects is a very good experience. There are many actors, shows are available, films are made but things that connect with people and force you to love, such things are only available because of God. I am happy with all this.

– You are from Delhi and you have made a name for yourself by going to Mumbai. What message would you give to your fans in Delhi?

What message should I send! All these friends send messages with a lot of love, I feel very good when they say that you went to Mumbai, made such a name, we feel very happy to see you. I just want to say that if you have come to Mumbai, whatever work you are doing, be patient. Patience is the biggest weapon that you can use. If you have patience and you are precise in one thing then you will definitely get success.

Was there ever a time when your courage faltered?

This happened once before I came to Mumbai and now I feel that this is a very good time, you learn the most in it. Right now good things are going on in life but not everyone has a good time. Things keep going up and down. Even if you are struggling at that time, many questions come to your mind, but at that time you work on yourself, then you get a little away from the world, you understand yourself. This is a very beautiful time for an artist if it is used properly.

– Did you face any problem after coming to Mumbai?

It keeps coming. I think who has not faced any problem! Nowadays all the artists start crying about their problems. But I feel strange because whoever has come from outside, has not come with a silver spoon in his mouth. I do not want to talk about this. I want to talk about what kind of a person I am, how I was able to stand out, what kind of things I have been doing. I have slept on the streets, spent my life eating vada pav, everyone is saying the same. What is different in this! I think some people also lie because people connect with it. But today’s generation is very intelligent. They know that okay, everyone is struggling. You tell me what fun you had during that time, how did you survive? What was the thing that kept you safe?

– In the fourth season of Gullak, you are seen in a changed style and people are liking it a lot. So tell us about it.

First of all, I never thought that such a great show would be made. I did think that the script is good but reaching out to people, settling in their minds, is not in our hands, it is natural. I cannot tell you that as soon as the fourth season was released, the kind of love, the kind of messages, mails, video messages that are coming, you are happy with it but you do not know how to respond. You can only fold your hands in front of them. Many shows and films are made but it is a great experience to have a show with someone, to remember it, to remember its dialogues. In my childhood, I used to wonder what are these films whose lines people repeat. And today when I hear people saying the lines of my show, it feels like something magical. Today, if such a project touches people, then the biggest reason for it is that our India is like a piggy bank. Many people are connected to it and many people cherish their lives in it. That is why this show gets love at that level.

– During this time you got married. So does this also affect the life of an actor?

I think that everything is good in an actor’s life. My wife manages me and looks after my work. If you are with the right person, it is beneficial. Of course, there are no pros and cons in relationships. But you get a perspective and it guides you.
