Madhukarai Special Force Police arrested a person who targeted college students in Coimbatore and distributed drugs through online in Kumbakonam.
Chief Constable Soundra Pandian hails from Geezhithai Road, Ramanathapuram District. His son Ajay Kumar (19) was studying second year engineering in a private college in Echanari area, Coimbatore.
In this case, Ajay Kumar, who was in the hotel room on the 13th, suddenly vomited and fainted and fell down. Then fellow students there rescued him and sent him to a nearby private hospital. The doctors who examined him there said that Ajay Kumar died on the way.
Subsequently, Ajay Kumar’s body was sent to the Coimbatore Government Hospital for post-mortem examination. In this case, Ajay Kumar’s post-mortem examination revealed that he had administered intravenous painkillers and died of heart failure due to high blood pressure.
Following this, the District S.P. On the order of Badri Narayanan, the Madhukarai police set up a special team and investigated the case. Madhukarai Inspector Vairam headed by Assistant Inspector Kaviarasu conducted an investigation at the hostel where Ajay Kumar was staying and called a fellow student for investigation.
It was then revealed that Ajaykumar had fainted and died when he bought drugs online and injected them intravenously. Subsequently, the police intensified the investigation and collected information about the person who sold the painkillers online. It was revealed that Mohammad Basir, who runs a pharmacy in Kumbakonam, was selling painkillers online to college students without a doctor’s prescription.
Subsequently, the Special Police Force headed by Assistant Inspector Kaviarasu went to Kumbakonam, arrested Mohammad Basir and brought him to Ko. Due to this, he was produced before the judge and imprisoned.
