Nissan has launched the Magnet Red Edition of its already popular Magnetite model.
Nissan’s Magnite is getting a good reception in India. Also excels in sales. Thus, it has introduced another model called Red Edition to attract more attention among customers. It is said to be developed in an SUV variant.
What are the highlights?
The new Red Edition MT XV Red Edition, Turbo MT XV Red Edition and Turbo CVT XV Red Edition will be available in three variants.
Also, since it is a Red Edition, red decorative material has been used on the main parts such as the front grill, front bumper cladding and body side cladding. Apart from that, the car’s dashboard, door side arm rest and center console are decorated with red color which is believed to attract the customers.
To appeal to the younger generation, it packs a host of features including an 8-inch infotainment system, 7-inch screen, push start/off feature, wireless Android Auto and Apple Car Play.
There is no change as far as the headlight and wheels are concerned. 16-inch alloy wheels, LED foglamps and daytime running lights are offered just like the regular Magnite car.
There is no change in terms of engine either, the same 1.0-litre petrol engine is used. It is capable of churning out a maximum power of 71 bhp and 91 Nm of torque.
The Nissan Magnite Turbocharger motor option is also available for sale in India. It is capable of churning out a maximum power of 98 bhp and 160 Nm of torque. It will be available in both 5-speed manual and CVT gearbox variants.
What is the price?
Its price is Rs. 7.86 lakh to Rs. 9.99 lakh (ExShowroomPrice) available for sale. The existing Nissan Magnite is priced at Rs. 5.97 lakh to Rs. It is being sold at a price of up to 10.57 lakhs.
