Meta Company’s messaging app WhatsApp has introduced a new feature for its business profile users. This feature allows users to search for businesses within the site, chat with them and purchase products. WhatsApp Business users can search for businesses in specific categories – banking, travel.
However, initially this feature is only available in countries like Brazil, Colombia, Indonesia, Mexico and the UK. This Business Profile feature allows users to easily find businesses within the SMS app. This way there is no need to save contacts or search for business details on websites.
The facility to search for businesses and buy products directly through WhatsApp is also provided. There is no need to go to the shopping website while doing this. WhatsApp has partnered with various companies to provide this facility for payment. This feature works similar to Geomart service.
WhatsApp claims that this feature is safe and protects users’ privacy. And users can make secure money transfer through their credit or debit card. This feature is useful for people and businesses to sell products through WhatsApp.
