Java Motorcycle Company is planning to replace the previous 294cc engine in the Java Bike model with the 334cc engine in the Perak Bike.
The upcoming Java 350 will take on the likes of the Royal Enfield 350 lineup, Honda CB350, Harley-Davidson X440 and the upcoming Hero Maverick 440.
Java 350
The liquid-cooled 334cc engine featured in the already on-sale Java 42 Bobber and Perak churns out a maximum power of 29 hp and 32.7 Nm of torque. It is mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox with slipper assist clutch.
It is sure to retain the basic Jawa Bike design that is currently on sale, with the addition of some stylish chrome accessories, new colors and body graphics changes.
Alternatively, the chassis may be revised in mechanical aspects and gain additional ground clearance. The front may have a telescopic fork and the rear may have a twin shock absorber.
Expected to go on sale on January 15, the price of the new Java 350 bike can start at Rs 2.20 lakh.
