Lenovo (Lenovo) announced theLenovo Legion Tab Generation 2, a gaming tablet that comes with a 2.5K 8.8-inch screen and a refresh rate of 144Hz, intended to be used as a mobile gaming solution based on Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 platform as a solution for users who are not satisfied with a normal mobile device as a mobile gaming solution.
While we managed to get used to the enormous size of today’s mobile devices to the point where we stopped using the concept of phablets, and tablets such as theTab Extreme (Review) of Lenovo redefined what a large tablet is thanks to a huge 14.5 inch screen, you can still find relatively compact tablets today, such as Lenovo’s new Legion Tab, which replaces theLegion Y700 Previous as a mobile gaming solution.
The new Legion Tab is practically equivalent to the mobile devices dedicated to gamers, when it combines an 8.8-inch screen with QHD+ resolution and a refresh rate of 144Hz, which meets 98% of the DCI-P3 color standard and reaches a brightness of up to 500 nits.
It is a larger solution than a standard mobile device today, but compact enough compared to normal and larger tablets, when it comes in a thickness of 7.6 mm and a weight of only 350 grams in order not to tire the users from long use of games.

In addition, you can find a pair of Dolby Atmos-supporting speakers and two USB-C connections on the tablet, which allow the tablet to be charged from the side or the bottom in order not to interfere with the user playing while charging, similar to other gaming devices on the market.
In order to allow users to get good gaming performance, the company integrated in the tablet the platformSnapdragon 8+ Gen 1 of Qualcomm alongside 12GB of memory and 256GB of internal storage that can be expanded with a built-in micro SD slot, where the tablet incorporates a 6,550mAh battery with support for 45W fast charging.
