by time news

Raider is one of India’s affordable and sporty looking two-wheeler models. It is a TVS company product. TVS has now introduced a Single Seat Version for this two-wheeler model.

Previously, the Rider was only available in the Split Seat option. Now to further attract the attention of the customers, this new seat option is being launched, the TVS. To be clear though, TVS has brought this selection to market for those who want to buy a rider bike at a lower price.

Yes, this single-piece seat is available for sale at a lower price than a rider with a double-piece configuration. It is available for sale at a price of less than one thousand rupees. For starters, the TVS Rider with a single length seating configuration will be priced at Rs. 93,719 has been priced.

This is ex-showroom price only. Other options for split type seating are Rs. 94,719 and for SX exam Rs. 1 lakh is also priced. These are also ex-showroom prices only. You may wonder if there have been changes to the features just as the seat has been changed to keep the price down.

However, TVS did not make any changes in this. All the features found in the split seat option are also available in the single seat rider. We can see the features including the LCD screen in the single seat rider. Meanwhile, the rider’s top-of-the-line SX gets a 5-inch touchscreen with Smart XConnect technology.

Due to the addition of such modern technical facilities, the price of the SX option is Rs. It is more than 1 lakh. It is worth noting that all the variants remain the same as far as the engine is concerned. A 124.8 cc single cylinder motor is used in the rider.

This motor churns out a maximum power of 11.4 bhp and 11.2 Nm of torque. This motor is mated to a 5 speed gearbox. In order to get the best riding experience, two types of riding modes Power and Eco are provided in the rider.

In this we can get good mileage while traveling in eco mode. Further, the bike is equipped with telescopic fork and monoshock suspension for a comfortable riding experience. Along with this, 240 mm disc brake is provided at the front side and 130 mm drum brake at the rear side for better braking experience.

The top speed of the TVS Rider is 99 kmph. It can accelerate from zero to 60 kmph in just 5.9 seconds. The TVS Rider is on sale in the Indian market as a competitor to two-wheelers such as the Glamor XTech and the Honda CB Shine SP.

DriveSpark concept

The TVS Rider Single Seat range is specially marketed for those who want a two-wheeler at a budget price. Even though it is not a huge amount, the savings of up to a thousand rupees may seem like a huge savings to some. It is expected that such people will definitely be attracted by the freshman exam.
