Time.news – Former Nba player Shawn Bradley was paralyzed after a serious bicycle accident. This was announced today by the Dallas Mavericks, where Bradley played from ’97 to 2005. Two months ago the former player was hit by a car while he was cycling near his home in St. George, in the State of Utah.

Undergoing neck surgery, Bradley underwent a long rehabilitation in recent weeks, at the end of which the response was terrible: Spinal injury caused leg paralysis.

Bradley, 48, a giant of 2.29, was the number two choice in the NBA Draft in ’93, selected by the Philadelphia 76ers. “We are saddened to learn of the incident – said Dallas owner Mark Cuban – Shawn has always been determined and with the fighting spirit. We wish him only the best, he will always be part of the Mavericks family.”
