A 38-year-old woman has been found dead at her home near the Arc de Triomphe in Paris. His body had many injuries.

The corpse of a woman in her thirties was discovered on Sunday afternoon in her apartment located in the 8th arrondissement of Paris, in the immediate vicinity of the Arc de Triomphe. His body had numerous wounds, particularly on his face, as well as self-defense marks on his arms, investigators say.
A forensic examination, the results of which are not yet known, took place on Monday morning. A source close to the investigation says that there is “necessarily the intervention of a third party in this case”.
Complaint for domestic violence
According to The Parisian, it was the parents of the victim who gave the alert, after several days without news of their daughter. They went to his home and saw the mess in his apartment. Thinking of a burglary, they immediately called the police. On the spot, the police searched the home and found a bloody blanket, placed on the sofa, before discovering the lifeless body of Marie-Astrid in the shower cubicle.

A year ago, the 38-year-old victim filed a complaint for domestic violence. The 30-year-old, receptionist in a large hotel, then told the police that she had been slapped several times by her ex-companion. Questioned by the investigators, neighbors testify to a “noisy” couple but nothing, for the moment, allows us to affirm the hypothesis of a feminicide.
