According to the department, the state of emergency occurred on Saturday in the village of Krasny Voin, the urban district of Solnechnogorsk. “A pre-investigation check has been organized on the grounds of a crime under Part 1 of Article 238 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (provision of services that do not meet security requirements),” Vradiy said.
Earlier in the prosecutor’s office, which also conducts its own check, 12 adolescents aged 14 to 16 have applied to medical institutions. All of them lived in the Mendeleevo hotel complex in Solnechnogorsk near Moscow. All showed signs of food poisoning. According to other sources, in addition to children, three adults also applied to hospitals with the same complaints. The progress of the check was put under control in the regional prosecutor’s office.

The administration of the city district of Solnechnogorsk clarified that the poisoning took place at the Institute of Arts and Information Technologies, which, from May 31 to June 6, for 7 days, entered into an agreement to provide its premises for an offsite event under the educational program to the Evgeny Primakov Charitable Foundation. The mobile group included 44 teenagers aged 15-16 from Moscow.
