Investment “daughter” of the company “Tashir” bought the developer of medical software Unim

Investment holding Tashir Medica bought 100% of Unim, a company that develops digital tools that help detect cancer. Alexey Remez, the founder and CEO of Unim, told Vedomosti about the deal, the information was confirmed by a representative of Tashir Medica. The amount of the transaction is not disclosed.

Unim was founded in 2014 and is engaged in the creation of full-cycle digital solutions for the organization of turnkey pathomorphological diagnostic processes. This includes quality control of biomaterial sampling, its digitization and the issuance of an official pathomorphological conclusion with the involvement of two or more experts from Russia and other countries. Experts study and analyze digitized histological preparations through a cloud platform developed by a startup. In oncology, the method of pathomorphological diagnostics is important, as it allows you to confirm the presence of a tumor and clarify its specific variant, which affects the choice of treatment.
