jpnn.comJAKARTA – As many as 2 thousand participants from employees in the MPR Secretariat General and the general public filled the North Plaza, Parliament Complex, Senayan, Jakarta on Saturday (31/8).
The presence of runners from the Jabodetabek, Karawang, Purwakarta, Lebak and other cities to the parliament complex was to take part in the ‘Fun Walk 3K’ and ‘Fun Run 5K’.
The healthy walk and half marathon were held by the MPR to commemorate Constitution Day and the 79th Anniversary of the MPR.
Acting Secretary General of the MPR Siti Fauziah said event This is a series of MPR activities starting from the Annual Session on August 16, Constitution Day and the 79th Anniversary of the MPR on August 18, 2024.
“Alhamdulillah, this morning is sunny, no rain so we can gather at the parliament building complex in good health to take part in the fun run and fun walk,” said Siti Fauziah.
The woman who is familiarly called Mrs. Titi said fun run and fun walk held openly so that the public can enter the parliamentary complex freely.
“So that we can enjoy this building as a people’s home,” said Mrs. Titi.
