Apple is likely to launch its next flagship iPhone 14 series – the iPhone 14 – later this year, and the lineup is already expected to feature key changes, including the lack of a mini version, a punch-hole design and a larger camera, thanks to a 48-megapixel sensor.

Gurman says that Apple plans to launch similar capabilities in the iPhone this year. This technology will allow users to send text messages to emergency personnel through satellite networks and report incidents.
As revealed in previous reports, the satellite calling feature is not designed for everyday activities such as general web browsing or video streaming, but rather a feature designed for use in real-world emergencies. The phone will include an “emergency message through contacts” feature that allows you to send short messages when there is no cellular connection.
It is still unknown which iPhone 14 models will get the emergency messaging feature.
