Much has already been said about the colors of the iPhone 16: Speculators expect the standard models to come in white, black, pink, green and blue. There are also changes in the Pro variants: The current focus of attention is the renewal of the gold color finish, which has some commonality with the gold versions of the previous series (see here). Now the leaker Majin Bu speaks out once again: The photos he shared are intended to show the possible colors of the official protective covers. Bu published some photos of silicone cases – the continued existence of “FineWoven” cases is not guaranteed due to the many problems with wear and tear on the material.
There are three additional color options in the future, but according to Bu, there will only be five variants at the market launch of the iPhone 16. Apple will expand the portfolio with additional options at a later date – a very common step when you look spring collections of previous years. The leaker also revealed the retail names of the colors, although these are definitely not guaranteed:

MagSafe compatibility and space for a “Shoot Button”
The leaker emphasizes that the cases are also compatible with MagSafe: the corresponding inductive chargers snap into place magnetically. The feature is primarily used on the iPhone 12 and its accessories. However, the cases have one feature that clearly distinguishes them from the cases of previous devices: there is a gap under the bulge for the standby button, which probably allows users to use the new “handhold button”. The button works, among other things, as a lock button for photos and will be seen on all shoots of the iPhone 16.
