Ishant Kishan, released by Mumbai Indians, is one of the players who is all set to become the biggest player in the auction. Four or five teams may compete for left-arm wicket-keeper Batter. Can bat as opener and midfielder. Kishan is expected to get Rs 12 to 14 crore. New teams Lucknow and Ahmedabad will be active for Kishan.
Shreyas Iyer
Shreyas Iyer is one of the players who could be the most expensive player in the auction. The team that needs a captain will be on the scene for prosperity. The RCB in particular is likely to fight hard for prosperity. It was rumored that RCB had set aside Rs 20 crore for the 27-year-old Indian player. Shreyas’ value will double as he shines in the last ODI against the West Indies.
Jason Holder
Jason Holder is the highest bidder all-rounder. The player is the all-rounder that any team wants and will be on the scene to acquire the CSK holder. Holder is also expected to win over Rs 10 crore in the mega auction. Recent form and tail-end batting prowess will help the holder. At least five teams in the auction are sure to look for a holder.
Auction procedures
The auction will start at 12 noon on Saturday. Marquee players will be auctioned off first. The Marquee players are R Ashwin, Quinton de Kok, Trent Bolt, Pat Cummins, Shikhar Dhawan, Faf du Plessis, Shreyas Iyer, Kagiso Rabada, Mohammad Shami and David Warner. The base price of these players is Rs 2 crore. The Marquee players will then go on to bid for players who have played international matches.
