IPL Auction 2022 Live : Ishant Kishan named most valuable player in IPL 2022 The Mumbai Indians bought their player for a whopping Rs 15.25 crore. Shreyas Iyer, who was acquired by Kolkata Knight Riders for Rs 12.25 crore, was previously the most valuable player.
The Punjab Kings and the new team Gujarat Titans had challenged Mumbai to the tune of Rs 10 crore. In the end, Nita Ambani’s team surpassed Sunrisers Hyderabad for Rs 15.25 crore.

Kishan is the second highest paid Indian player in the IPL star auction. Ishant could not surpass Yuvraj’s Rs 16 crore and South African Chris Morris’ Rs 16.25 crore.
Apart from Iyer, Royal Challengers Bangalore also bagged the Indian medium pacer, Hershal Patel, who won the Purple Cup 2021, and Sri Lankan spinner Vanidu Hazarenga for Rs 10.75 crore. Rajasthan Royals have acquired Karnadaka’s Malayalee player Devadath Padikkal for Rs 7.75 crore.
Meanwhile, India’s Suresh Raina, Wriddhiman Saha, Australia’s Steve Smith, Sam Billings, Matthew Wade, Bangladesh all – rounder Shakib Al-Hassan, South Africa’s David Miller and Afghanistan’s Mohammad Nabi are all out. They will be given another chance tomorrow.
