Rajasthan Royals have arrested R Ashwin for Rs 5 crore. RCB has reinstated Herschelle Patel for Rs 10.75 crore. Rajasthan Royals have acquired Malayalee player Devadath Padikkal for Rs 7.75 crore. Hugh Edmides, who has been running the star auction since 2018, also controls the mega star auction. The auction process was halted for a while due to Edmidus’ frustration during the auction. Representatives from a total of 10 teams, including the new teams Lucknow and Ahmedabad, are participating in the auction.
