Bangalore Royal Challengers won the match by 16 runs against Delhi.
With the Chennai Super Kings blocking the victory of the unbeaten Bangalore team by winning three matches in a row, the RCB has now started the scoring again by beating Delhi. Delhi Bowling won the toss and elected to field in the 27th league match. With Duplessis, Rawat and Virat Kohli all out for short runs in the Bangalore squad, Maxwell played well and crossed for a half-century. Following Dinesh Karthik in action, Bangalore scored 189 for 5 in 20 overs.
Only David Warner and Rishabh Pund played well for the Delhi team. Delhi lost 7 wickets in 20 overs and took only 173 runs as the other players were unbeaten. Following this, Bangalore Royal Challengers won by 16 runs. Dinesh Karthik, who played an action-packed 66 off 34 balls, was selected as the man of the match. While Bangalore ranks 3rd in the points table, Delhi ranks 8th.
