She is the only daughter in her family. Also, due to being busy in her work, she was not able to give time to the family. That is why she had to take such a difficult decision.
She became an IPS officer at the age of 22.
Kamya Mishra passed the UPSC exam at the age of just 22 and became an IPS officer of the 2019 batch. She got her first posting in Himachal cadre, but later she got herself transferred to Bihar cadre. Kamya was very good in studies since childhood. She got 98 percent marks in 12th.
Married to IAS Awadhesh Saroj in 2021
Kamya Mishra’s husband Awadhesh Saroj is also an IPS officer. Awadhesh Saroj is also a 2019 batch IPS officer and is posted in Bihar cadre. He has done B.Tech from IIT Bombay. Kamya and Awadhesh got married in 2021.
