The Pentagon said on Friday that the US will move a fighter jet squadron to the Middle East and maintain the presence of an aircraft carrier in the region. The US wants to do this to protect Israel from Iranian attacks. US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has asked to deploy additional naval ships in the European and Middle East regions, capable of protecting against ballistic missiles. Cruisers and destroyers have also been ordered. This change reflects the promise made by US President Joe Biden to Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. According to the White House, in a call on Thursday, Biden discussed new US military deployments to protect against ballistic missiles and drone attacks.
America stopped Iran’s attacks
In April, dozens of missiles and drones were fired by Iran on Israel, almost all of which were shot down by the US. In view of the attacks on Hamas and Hezbollah leaders, the US is worried about increasing violence in the Middle East. Israel is receiving threats of retaliation. Israel had vowed to kill Hamas leaders
