Iran denies accusations that Tehran is involved in the hijacking of the ship in the Red Sea. This is how Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani Chafi responded to the relevant statements, Tasnim agency reports, Day.Az reports with reference to Lenta.ru.
“Israel’s accusations are categorical and false. They are caused by the difficult conditions in which Tel Aviv finds itself,” he said.
According to him, these statements are a defense mechanism, they were made only in order to escape from the terrible situation that Israel faced. The Iranian authorities have repeatedly noted that the forces of resistance to Israel in the Middle East make decisions based on the interests of their country and nation, they do not obey the Islamic republic.
Earlier it became known that the Houthis seized the bulk carrier Galaxy Leader in the Red Sea. In turn, the Israeli side called this a very serious global event and blamed Tehran for the incident.
