Iranian drones, used massively in recent days by Moscow to strike Ukrainian energy infrastructure, are a symbol of the “military and political bankruptcy” of Russian troops, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said on Tuesday.
“The very fact that Russia is calling on Iran for help is the Kremlin’s recognition of its military and political bankruptcy,” mocked the Ukrainian head of state in his daily speech published on social networks.
Iran has said it is ready for its part to talk with kyiv in order to clarify the assertions, deemed “unfounded”, according to which Tehran is supplying Russia with weapons and drones used in its offensive against Ukraine.
