Copenhagen – Iran’s ambassador to Sweden has not been invited to the Nobel Prize ceremony on December 10. It was decided not to invite to the ceremony considering the fact that there are now popular protests going on in that country against the Iranian government that denies human rights including women’s freedom.
A few days ago, the Nobel Foundation announced that it would not invite the representatives of Russia and its ally Belarus, which is attacking Ukraine. It is customary to invite all diplomatic representatives in Sweden to the award ceremony.
