Iran’s Foreign Minister, Hossein Amir Abdulkhian referred to the protests in Iranian cities following the death of the young woman Mehsa Amini and said that “American support for the rioters is contrary to Washington’s diplomatic position towards Tehran”. He added that “full peace is a right of every nation, however, the US’s involvement in Iran’s affairs and in supporting the destabilization, stands in clear contradiction to Miriam regarding the necessity of the nuclear agreement.”
