Iraq achieves more than $8 billion in oil sales in a month

/ The Ministry of Oil announced on Sunday that the total oil exports and financial revenues achieved for last December exceeded 8 billion US dollars, according to the final statistics issued by the Iraqi Oil Marketing Company (SOMO).

The ministry said in a statement today that the quantity of crude oil exports was (108) million, (56) thousand, and (590) barrels, with revenues amounting to (8) billion, (311) million, and (34) thousand dollars.

The statistics indicated that the total quantities of crude oil exported for the month of December from the oil fields in central and southern Iraq amounted to (107) million, (592) thousand, and (532) barrels, while exports to Jordan were (464) thousand, and (58) barrels.

According to the statistics, the average price of one barrel reached (76.914) dollars.

The Ministry added that the exported quantities were loaded by (44) international companies of various nationalities, from the ports of Basra, Khor Al-Zubair, single buoys, the Turkish port of Ceyhan, and the modern Kirkuk warehouse by tank trucks.
