/ The Iraqi national team achieved its first victory over the Indonesian national team with a score of 3-1 in the first round of Group 4 of the Asian Football Cup currently taking place in Qatar.
The match took place at 5:30 pm on Monday at Ahmed Bin Ali Stadium.
The first half ended with the Iraqi team leading by two goals to one. The Iraqi team scored first through Muhannad Ali in the 17th minute, and the Indonesian team managed to score the equalizer in the 34th minute through Marcelino Ferdinand. Before the end of the first half, the second goal for Iraq came through player Osama Rashid in the 45+7 minute.
In the second half, the Iraqi team added the third goal in the 75th minute through substitute Ayman Hussein.
