/ An economic website reported on Monday that Iraq ranked 47th globally and fifth globally in terms of the number of workers in 2023.
The global economy website stated, in a table viewed by Agency, that “more than 11 million people from the workforce were in Iraq during the past year 2023.
He added, “China ranked first with 781.83 million people in the workforce, followed by India in second place with 523.84 million people, then the United States came in third with 169.23 million people in the workforce, Indonesia came in fourth with 137.26 million people, while Iraq came in 47th place in the workforce with 11.18 million people.”
Vincent and Tonga came at the bottom of the table with 0.05 and 0.04 of the workforce respectively.
Iraq ranked fifth in the Arab world in terms of workforce, after Egypt, which came in first place with 31.17 million workers, followed by Saudi Arabia with 15.91 million, followed by Algeria with 12.64 million, followed by Morocco in fourth place with 12.53 million.
