/ Iraq ranked tenth in the list of the cheapest electricity prices in 2023, according to global petrol prices.

According to a table published by the specialized economic website, which Shafak News Agency reviewed, Iraq came in tenth place out of 142 countries listed in the table with the cheapest electricity prices for the year 2023, as the price of electricity in Iraq reached $0.015 per kilowatt hour.

Iran came in first place as the cheapest country, with the price of electricity reaching $0.002 per kilowatt hour, followed by Syria at $0.003 per kilowatt hour, then Ethiopia at $0.006, then Sudan at $0.006, and Libya at $0.008.

Ireland and Liechtenstein came in last with the most expensive electricity prices, with electricity prices reaching $0.517 and $0.519, respectively, per kilowatt hour.
