/ Iraq occupied the third largest oil exporting country to China during the past year 2023, according to a report published by Reuters, on Sunday.
The agency added that China’s total oil imports rose during 2023 to a record level of 563.99 million metric tons, or the equivalent of 11.28 million barrels per day.
It showed that Russia ranked first with oil exports to China, which amounted to 107,024,517 metric tons, equivalent to 781,275 million barrels, followed by Saudi Arabia second, with exports amounting to 85,959,517 metric tons, equivalent to 627,500 million barrels.
According to Reuters, Iraq came third in its oil exports to China last year, reaching 59,260,931 metric tons, equivalent to 432,604 million barrels, an increase of 6.80% from what it recorded in 2022.
