/ The Petroleum Merchandise Distribution Firm confirmed on Wednesday that the quantity of gasoline imports had decreased by half after working the Karbala refinery, indicating that the ministry’s plan to finish gasoline imports is continuing in response to its time restrict.
The corporate’s basic supervisor, Hussein Talib, advised Company, “The Ministry of Oil has drawn up a plan inside a time restrict to finish the method of importing petroleum derivatives, particularly gasoline,” noting that “after working the Karbala refinery, the quantity of gasoline imported decreased to 7 million liters after Iraq was importing 14 million liters.
Taleb continued, “After working the North Refinery, gasoline imports will lower to 4 million liters,” explaining that “growing the manufacturing capability of nationwide refineries will compensate for the rest of gasoline imports.”
Talib identified that “Iraq has ended the problem of importing different merchandise of fuel and white oil after native manufacturing reached self-sufficiency.”
