/ The Iraqi national football team will face its Jordanian counterpart next Monday in the round of 16 of the 2023 AFC Asian Cup, which is currently taking place in Qatar.
The match will be held at 2:30 pm, at Khalifa International Stadium in the Qatari capital, Doha.
The matches in the round of 16 of the Asian Cup for the officially qualified teams, which will start next Sunday, will be as follows: Saudi Arabia vs. South Korea, Australia vs. Indonesia, Iraq vs. Jordan, the Emirates vs. Tajikistan, Qatar vs. Palestine, Uzbekistan vs. Thailand, Japan vs. Bahrain, and Syria vs. Iran.
The Iraqi national football team topped Group 4 with a full score of 9 points after defeating its Vietnamese counterpart, 3-2, yesterday, Wednesday, in the 2023 AFC Asian Cup.
The Jordanian national team came in third place in Group Five with 4 points, while Bahrain topped Group Five with 6 points, followed by South Korea with 5 points, and finally Malaysia in fourth place with one point.
