Iraq surpasses Saudi Arabia in oil exports to America

/ The US Energy Information Administration announced, on Sunday, that Iraq’s oil exports to America increased during the past week.

A schedule of the administration, which Agency has reviewed, showed that “the average US imports of crude oil during the past week from 9 major countries amounted to 4.490 million barrels per day, down by 1.711 million barrels per day from the previous week, which amounted to 6.201 million barrels per day.”

He added that “Iraq’s oil exports to America reached 206 thousand barrels per day last week, an increase of 128 thousand barrels per day from the previous week, which reached an average of 64 thousand barrels per day.”

He pointed out that “the largest oil revenues for America during the past week came from Canada at a rate of 3.270 million barrels per day, followed by Mexico at an average of 356 million barrels per day, and oil revenues from Brazil reached an average of 266 thousand barrels per day, then Nigeria at an average of 199 thousand barrels per day.”

According to the administration, “the amount of US imports of crude oil from Saudi Arabia is 81 thousand barrels per day, from Colombia is 71 thousand barrels per day, from Libya is 37 thousand barrels per day, and from Ecuador is 3 thousand barrels per day,” while it did not import any amount from Russia.
