against the backdrop of recent Israeli threats to Iraq, the leader of the Sadrist movement in Iraq, Muqtada al-Sadr, issued a set of directives to the “Peace Brigades.”
Muqtada Al-Sadr announced a document that included 4 decisions and orders for the “Peace Brigades”, which are:
- the first order: Changing the administrative and military headquarters of the Al-Salam Brigades and other residential areas to areas far from the population for a maximum period of 40 days from the date of this book, with the exception of Samarra exclusively.
- The second order: It is prohibited to use cars in an excessive manner that does not please God Almighty or society. Therefore, it is prohibited to use more than 5 non-personal (official) cars for each of the leaders. Brother Tahseen, the jihadist aide, must withdraw all non-personal cars, with the exception of Samarra or out of necessity. obtaining a special order from us exclusively thru the private office, and anyone who violates this order must be punished immediately.
- The third order: Canceling all pictures of the Al-Sadr family from the headquarters, especially the external ones, immediately and within a maximum period of 3 days from the date of this statement. This order does not include pictures in internal rooms and corridors and the like, and pictures in the streets, alleys and public squares have nothing to do with it.
- Fourth matter: It is necessary for the flag of Iraq to be higher than every flag, including (the flag of the Peace Brigades). We (the Shiite National Movement) hope to raise the green flag of Imam Mahdi with the Iraqi flag and the flag of the Peace brigades. This is an exclusive matter for companies.
A few days ago, Iraqi Foreign Minister Fuad Hussein stated that “his country received threatening messages from the Israeli occupation and did not respond to those messages.”
“In a letter addressed to the president of the UN Security council, the Israeli Foreign Minister, Gideon sa’ar, held the iraqi government responsible for what is happening on its territory, demanding that immediate measures be taken regarding the activity of pro-Iranian militias in Iraq,” and the Israeli newspaper “maariv” reported the existence of a plan to target Armed factions in Iraq.”
