/ The Iraqi under-14 tennis team achieved third place in the regional qualifiers for West and Central Asia, which concluded its competitions in the Omani capital, Muscat, on Tuesday.
The head of the Iraqi Tennis Federation, Saif Al-Aqili, told Agency, “The Iraqi team won third place in the doubles competition, through players Ahmed Muhannad and Hassan Ali.”
He added, “The player Ahmed Muhand won seventh place in the individual competition, while his colleague Hassan Ali won tenth place in the same event.”
It is noteworthy that the championship competitions were held in the Sultanate of Oman from January 8-16.
