The Meteorological Authority announced, today, Thursday, the details of the weather conditions in the country for the coming days, while it expected rain to fall starting next week.

A statement by the Authority, received by the (INA), stated that “the weather for tomorrow, Friday, will be clear, and temperatures will drop slightly in the central and southern regions, and close to the previous day in the northern region, and winds will be active during the day in the central and southern parts of the country, causing dust to rise,” indicating that “the maximum temperatures will be in Baghdad, Diyala, Anbar, Salah al-Din, Kirkuk and Karbala 41, Wasit, Babylon, Najaf, Diwaniyah 42, Muthanna 43, Maysan, Dhi Qar and Basra 44.”

The statement added, “The weather on Saturday will be clear with some clouds and partly cloudy in the northern region with scattered showers. Temperatures will be similar to the previous day in the central and northern regions, and will drop slightly in the southern region of the country. Winds will be active during the day in the central and southern regions, causing dust to rise.”

He said, “On Sunday, the weather will be clear with some clouds and partly cloudy in the northern region, and temperatures will generally be close to the previous day.”

He added, “The weather next Monday will be clear with some clouds, and temperatures will be similar to the previous day in the central and southern regions, and will decrease slightly in the northern region.”
