/ The Iraqi youth team lost to its Jordanian counterpart by two goals to none, today, Wednesday, in the match hosted by the “Seda” stadium in its first friendly match within its camp held in the Turkish city of Antalya in preparation for the upcoming events.

The first half ended in a goalless draw between the two teams, as this half witnessed the Iraqi youth team missing a penalty kick, which was wasted by player Mustafa Qabil. In the second half, the Jordanian team succeeded in scoring two goals after exploiting the opportunities available to them, while the Iraqi youth team did not succeed in scoring after wasting some scoring opportunities.

In the second half, the Iraqi national team coach, Imad Mohammed, included many substitute players to assess their technical levels and give all players the opportunity to benefit from such experimental matches.
