Iraq youth team begins training in Türkiye

/ The Iraqi youth football team started its first training session on Sunday at the “Mirhan” complex in the Turkish city of Antalya, as part of its preparatory camp held there in preparation for the upcoming events.

The Iraqi Football Association stated in a statement received by Agency that the training started in the rain, and 27 players participated in it, including the professional player in the Danish club “Copenhagen”, Amin Jalal, who joined the youth team delegation upon its arrival yesterday evening, Saturday, at his residence in the Turkish city of Antalya.

The training focused on physical fitness exercises, in addition to some tactical and skill aspects. The training units for the youth team continue with two training units, one in the morning and one in the evening, to prepare this team and prepare it properly for the future.

It is expected that the youth team camp in Turkey will include three friendly matches, the first of which will be against the Jordanian team on the 24th of this month, followed by a second match on the 27th against Shakhtar Donetsk of Ukraine, and the camp will conclude with a match against the Kyrgyzstan team on the first of next February.
