/ Iraqi clubs continue to strengthen their teams participating in the Professional Football League for the 2023-2024 season, during the winter transfer period.

Nigerian midfielder Marouf Youssef strengthened the ranks of the Missan Oil team, coming from the National Bank of Egypt club, to be a member of the Missan Oil football team, for the remainder of the next season.

The management of Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya Club also contracted with Argentine defensive lineman Hugo Silva, coming from the Bolivian club Royal Bari, to strengthen the team’s ranks in the Iraqi Stars Football League competitions.

Nigerian midfielder Amos Dadet was scheduled to join Al-Zawraa’s training, but the agreement stipulated that he be on probation, and the player failed the test in order to pack his bag and return to his country after the deal failed and the Al-Zawraa technical staff did not gain conviction. In return, Al-Zawraa management contracted with the player. Muhammad Reda, who officially signed Al-Zawraa’s records, came from the Air Force.

The Newroz Club management officially signed the player Stephen Baffour, coming from Al-Karkh Club, to represent Newroz football for the remainder of the 2023-2024 football season.
