/ Iraqi clubs continue to strengthen their teams participating in the Professional Football League for the 2023-2024 season, during the winter transfer period.

Nigerian midfielder Marouf Youssef has strengthened the ranks of Naft Maysan team, coming from the Egyptian Al-Bank Al-Ahly club, to be one of the members of Naft Maysan football team for the remainder of the next season.

Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya Club management also contracted with the Argentine defender (Hugo Silva) coming from the Bolivian Royal Bari Club, to strengthen the team’s ranks in the Iraqi Premier League football competitions.

Nigerian midfielder Amos Dadet was supposed to join Al-Zawraa training, but the agreement stipulated that he be on probation. The player failed the test and packed his bags and returned to his country after the deal failed and Al-Zawraa’s technical staff were not convinced. In return, Al-Zawraa’s management contracted with player Mohammed Reda, who officially signed for Al-Zawraa, coming from Al-Quwa Al-Jawiya.

The management of Nawroz Club officially signed a contract with the player Stephen Baffour, coming from Al-Karkh Club, to represent Nawroz football for the remainder of the 2023-2024 football season.
