/ The Iraqi national team continued its training this morning, Monday, in preparation for its match against the Vietnamese national team next Wednesday at 2:30 pm at Jassim bin Hamad Stadium, owned by Al-Sadd Club.
Today’s training session, which was hosted by Al Gharafa Club’s training centers and attended by the First Vice President of the Iraqi Federation, Ali Jabbar, and members Yahya Zagher and Mohammed Nasser, included all the players who appeared fully prepared to participate in the upcoming match against Vietnam within the framework of the third round matches for the teams of Group D of the 2023 Asian Cup, through which the matches of the round of 16 will be determined for all groups.
It is expected that the Iraqi national team will play a round of 16 match on the 29th of this month at Khalifa International Stadium against one of the teams that won third place in (Group Two, Five or Six).
In a related context, tomorrow, Tuesday, at 11:00 am, a press conference will be held for the national team coach, Jesus Casas, at the press center (Msheireb), alongside the national team player, Bashar Resan.
